Marine Printers historic move from its art-deco namesake to its new facilities at 1252 East Hastings has not only made for a new look but a major expansion in equipment and capabilities.

The acquisition of a new fully automated Komori Lithrone 29 inch press with 5 colour units, aqueous coating and inline drying has allowed Marine Printers to expand into new markets. Our clients can now expect enhanced creative offerings. Improved four colour & spot colour capabilities due to a fully integrated pre-press to press workflow. Our front end Creo computer-to-plate system combined with Komori Bladesetter technology allows for computer generated ink profiles to be downloaded directly to the press ink keys. Inline aqueous coatings permit almost instant drying times as sheets are delivered from the press. Fully automated press-make readies reduce setup times and running speeds of up 15,000 sheets per hour make this press a formidable piece of equipment.
